Saint-Cirgues is located halfway between Aurillac, the capital of the Cantal, and Puy Mary, the heart of the Monts du Cantal.

This charming and picturesque village is known for its houses built with the local dark volcanic stone, adorned with lime mortar joints.

The Roman-style church Saint-Cyr-et-Sainte-Juliette, dating back to the 12th century, features a modest exterior that hides a beautifully decorated and colorful interior.

The village is also home to three circular, signed walking routes, each offering a unique perspective of the surrounding landscape, all starting from the heart of the village.
